Silver Key is a collaborative community partner participating in committees and coalitions to improve services to seniors in the Pikes Peak Region. Silver Key is the host of the following community meetings:
Coalition to Address Abuse in Later Life (CALL): Silver Key is the hosting agency for CALL, a group of 22 stakeholders in the Pikes Peak region committed to improving community response to the abuse, neglect, and exploitation of seniors. Partners include: Adult Protective Services, Colorado Springs Police Department, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office, The Office of the District Attorney, TESSA, the Colorado Springs Housing Authority, The Pikes Peak Area Agency on Aging, the Colorado Springs Fire Department, the El Paso County Health Department, SET, senior advocacy groups, and medical providers. This group is committed to improving services and systems to protect the elderly from exploitation and abuse.
Extended Care Ethics Committee (EPCMS): The purpose of EPCMS is to provide guidance and direction to long term care and assisted living facilities, residents and families, staff, and physicians on ethical issues relating to medical care treatment and living conditions of long term care residents in El Paso and Teller counties. The committee presents a well balanced spectrum of health care and legal professionals and community volunteers.

AARP Tax- Aide Program at Silver Key Senior Services
During Tax Season, volunteers with AARP work diligently two days a week at Silver Key to help older adults in Colorado Springs prepare their taxes.
