Carlos Nunez

Title: Resource Navigator

Carlos serves as a Resource Navigator in the Behavioral Health Program. He provides peer support services to clients with mental illnesses and functions as a role model to peers; exhibiting competency in personal recovery and use of coping skills; and, serves as a consumer advocate, providing consumer information and peer support for clients in outpatient settings.

Carlos served twelve years in the United State Army in leadership and staff positions as a non-commissioned officer.  Carlos was deployed three times to Iraq in Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom, and Operation New Dawn. After leaving the military, he served as a security guard for the Lighthouse and was hired as a mental health technician due to the compassion and care he provided clients and their families. Carlos joined Silver Key in November 2020.

Carlos enjoys time with his family and his interests are camping, fishing, and outdoor recreational activities.
