Roxanne Eflin, MA, GPC

Title: Senior Manager, Grants and Innovation

Roxanne manages Silver Key’s grants program, working with leadership to develop the organization’s strategy around grants and innovative opportunities.  She researches, writes, acknowledges and provides compliance for a wide variety of public, foundation and corporate grants.  She has written and secured hundreds of grants over her 38-year career.

Roxanne’s career experience is well-rooted in the nonprofit sector. She is a nationally Certified Grants Professional and serves on the Board of the Grants Professionals Association/Colorado Chapter as Program Chair.  She served as the Program Director for the Veterans Companionship three-year National Pilot program for Silver Key, in partnership with AmeriCorps Seniors.  She has also served on the Citizens Advisory Committee of the Pikes Peak Area Council of Governments.  Roxanne has held leadership positions with numerous national, state, regional and local organizations and boards, and has been honored for her advocacy work in the field of historic preservation and downtown revitalization.

Her private and public sector experience includes positions as Executive Director for three statewide organizations, plus consultant, public speaker, cultural tourism manager, grants reviewer, and trainer for the National Alliance of Preservation Commissions. Roxanne is a published author and poet, a graduate of Leadership Maine, and holds a Public Administration, an M.A. in Urban Planning/Historic Preservation, and holds a Certificate in International Tourism Management.
