FAQs
How do I donate a hospital bed?
We accept true hospital beds in complete working order at the Colorado Springs location. Head/feet must be able to lower and mattress must be hospital grade encased in vinyl with no holes or tears. You must make an appointment to donate your hospital bed to ensure we have space and unloading help.
Do you pick-up or deliver?
At this time we do not provide those services.
What is your return policy?
All sales are final.
What is considered Durable Medical Equipment?
Things that aid in mobility such as, walkers, canes, hospital beds, wheelchairs, scooters, bed-side commodes, toilet risers, and unopened adult incontinent products.
Do you take motorized durable medical equipment such as scooters and wheelchairs?
Generally, no, but if the item is new, we consider this on a case-by-case basis. Must call ahead or email thriftstore@silverkey.org
When are donation hours?
During normal business hours:
Colorado Springs, Mon-Sat 9am-4pm
Tri-Lakes, Mon-Sat 10am-5pm (Winter Hours Nov – Feb, 10am – 4pm)
Do you accept all donations?
Our stores are small, but mighty. All donations are subject to in-person approval and are based on available space.
