I’ve been driving for Silver Key since 2017, and it’s been a really meaningful and rewarding experience. I enjoy getting to know the folks I drive – sometimes I’m the only person they see that week, and that connection really matters. After I had surgery and couldn’t drive for a few months, I saw just how important this service is, both physically and emotionally.

What are the volunteer opportunities?
We have opportunities across all our programs – from giving rides and delivering meals to helping at our thrift store and activity centers. Whether you love working directly with seniors or prefer behind-the-scenes support, we’ll find something that fits your interests.
Is there a cost to volunteer?
No cost to volunteer! We do ask volunteers to donate to Silver Key to help cover their background check (around $30) since this helps us keep costs down, but we never want cost to be a barrier – we’ll cover all costs as needed.
