Silver Key to Hold Four Part Caregiving Series

Silver Key is partnering with national caregiving expert, Jane Barton, MTS, MASM, CSA, to bring a four part series on caregiving issues to Colorado Springs. The first session will take place today, August 23, from 1:30 — 3:30 p.m. at the Silver Key campus at 1655 S. Murray Blvd. This is a free event and is open to the public.

Caregiving has become a very important topic as the baby boomers age and are being called upon to take care of aging parents, partners, and other family members. This series will work to provide insight into the often lonely and isolated life of the caregiver as well as provide resources for assistance in the caregiving journey. Topics to be discussed include:

Caregiving in the Twenty-First Century * August 23, 2017 (1:30 – 3:30 PM)

The series is sponsored by Pikes Peak Hospice and Palliative Care, Innovations In Aging Collaborative (IIAC), and the Seniors Blue Book. To make a reservation please call (719)884-2350. Seating is limited.
