Silver Key's food pantry distributes government food assistance to supplement a senior's diet and improve the health of the low-income elderly. The food pantry also provides food for people over 60 in a temporary emergency situation.
Silver Key Senior Outreach Services (SOS) serves as an entry point to connect older adults in need of emotional or other help to local mental health services and case management.
Silver Key Connections Café (previously Golden Circle) provides nutritious meals in a social dining setting at more than 20 locations to promote good health and camaraderie.
Anyone age 60+ can benefit from having meals arranged and brought to their door by a friendly Silver Key volunteer. Hot meals are available Monday through Friday with reheatable meals provided on weekends for easy, healthy food options seven days a week.
Silver Key Reserve & Ride transportation service provides door-through-door ADA accessible transportation for medical appointments, shopping, group meals, social activities, recreation trips, and more. Recurring daily, weekly, or monthly rides can be scheduled upon request. Reserve & Ride transportation accommodates wheelchairs, walkers, those needing a lift device, oxygen, and other special needs.
