Currently There 427 roofing companies licensed with Pike Peak Regional Building Department.  According to research, if you remove all out-of-state, out of county and those whom licenses have expired, this leaves only 170 local El Paso county roofing companies that were licensed before the storm. Many out of the area contractors only license in hopes that hail many one day hit, and they can flock to our town.
